IT Support Engineer

We are seeking a Senior End User Computing (EUC) professional who enjoys supporting people just as much as technology. This role is ideal for someone who has built strong experience in desktop or EUC support and is now ready to step into a more senior position where they can mentor others, provide technical leadership, and help shape how support is delivered across the team. You will work closely with the Manager and broader IT team, acting as a senior escalation point, guiding junior team members, and helping maintain a high standard of service delivery across the business.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a Senior Desktop Support Engineer, EUC Specialist, IT Support Team Lead, or experienced Support Analyst that has been mentoring others and is ready to take the next step.

Key responsibilities include:

• Acting as a senior point of support and escalation within the EUC team

• Mentoring and guiding junior support field engineers, helping build capability across the team

• Supporting day-to-day end user computing services across multiple sites

• Helping drive consistent service delivery and strong customer experience

• Assisting the manager with prioritisation, coordination and delegation of work

• Contributing to process improvements and documentation

• Building strong relationships with business users and stakeholders

• Supporting with both remote and face-to-face technical assistance

• Participating in hardware rollouts, system upgrades, and project initiatives

About You

You are someone who enjoys helping others succeed and takes pride in delivering high-quality support.

You bring:

• Experience working in Desktop Support, EUC, Field Support or Senior IT Support roles

• The confidence to act as a senior team member and mentor to others

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage escalations

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement

• A proactive mindset and a willingness to take ownership of issues

• The ability to balance technical support with leadership responsibilities

• A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel between sites when required
