We have an opportunity with one of Australia’s most recognised consumer brands.
This organisation operates at scale, manages a substantial customer database and invests heavily in customer acquisition, media, digital marketing and brand growth. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Senior Manager Media to lead media strategy, customer acquisition, creative delivery and performance optimisation.
You will lead a team of marketing professionals and manage a multi-million-dollar media budget focused on driving revenue growth, acquiring new customers and increasing brand awareness.
This is a senior marketing leadership role for someone who understands media, acquisition, creative, agency management and commercial performance.
What you’ll be doing
• Lead media strategy across digital, paid and owned channels
• Manage a multi-million-dollar media budget
• Drive customer acquisition, revenue growth, ROI and ROAS
• Lead and develop a high-performing media team
• Manage media agency relationships and performance
• Oversee creative and production execution across campaign assets
• Ensure all creative and media activity aligns to brand and business objectives
• Develop annual, quarterly and campaign-specific media strategies
• Build reporting capability and performance measurement frameworks
• Lead optimisation, testing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Partner with Product, Digital, Creative and Commercial teams
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and governance requirements
What we’re looking for
• 7+ years’ experience in media, marketing, acquisition or performance marketing
• 3-5 years’ experience leading and developing teams
• Experience managing significant media budgets
• Strong agency management experience
• Proven ability to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth
• Strong understanding of ROI, ROAS, attribution and campaign performance
• Experience developing media strategy and integrated campaigns
• Commercially minded with strong analytical capability
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Highly regarded
• Experience within membership, subscription, retail, travel, insurance, lotteries, gaming, eCommerce or other high-volume B2C environments
• Experience managing large customer acquisition programs
• Experience working with media, creative and production agencies
• Experience balancing brand building with commercial performance outcomes
