The Opportunity

An exceptional opportunity exists for an accomplished and entrepreneurial Chief Executive Officer to lead the commercial launch of an innovative Australian business with significant long-term growth potential.

Backed by an experienced founding team, proven technology and a clear commercial strategy, the business is preparing to enter its first stage of commercialisation. The Board is seeking an experienced executive to lead the company’s inaugural capital raising program, establish its first commercial operations and build the foundations for future national and international expansion.

This is a genuine opportunity to shape a business from the beginning, not simply manage an existing organisation. The successful CEO will play a pivotal role in securing investment, building strategic partnerships, assembling a high-performing executive team and creating long-term shareholder value.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Board, your immediate priority will be to successfully lead the company’s capital raising strategy, engaging with institutional investors, family offices, private investors and strategic funding partners.

Following a successful raise, you will transition into leading the commercial execution of the business strategy, establishing operations, driving growth and positioning the business for future expansion and subsequent investment rounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the company’s capital raising strategy and investor engagement activities.
• Develop and execute the commercial growth strategy.
• Build strong relationships with investors, government, industry and strategic partners.
• Lead commercial negotiations and strategic partnership opportunities.
• Establish and lead a high-performing executive leadership team.
• Work closely with the Board to execute long-term strategic objectives.
• Oversee governance, financial performance and organisational growth.
• Position the business for future investment rounds and long-term expansion.

You are an experienced commercial leader who thrives in high-growth environments and enjoys building businesses from the ground up.

You have successfully raised capital, worked closely with investors and Boards, and have the credibility to represent a business at the highest levels.

You will bring:

• A proven track record of raising significant growth capital.
• Strong commercial, strategic and financial acumen.
• Demonstrated experience working with Boards, investors and executive leadership teams.
• Outstanding stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
